Vice President of Project Development
Scott Morton has been serving institutional clients as a construction planning specialist for over 20 years. Currently serving as Boldt Construction's preconstruction manager for this market segment, he has a directed the resources necessary to estimate, schedule and value-engineer projects from initial conceptualization through the completion of final construction design.
Working primarily with liberal arts colleges and healthcare institutions, Morton has been instrumental in the successful completion of projects valued at over $800 million. He has gained a significant understanding for the operational and financial pressures on higher education institutions and is devoted to maximizing the value obtained by his clients for their construction dollar.
Morton is one of Boldt's leaders in promoting sustainable construction practice and design. He is integrally involved in the company's initiative to provide innovative construction solutions that are responsible to the environment as well as the missions of the institutions they serve.
He is a graduate of Iowa State University in Construction Engineering.
